Nicolas Le Corre is presenting his research at the World Conference on Marine Biodiversity on Tuesday, May 15.
Nicolas Le Corre’s research focuses on modelling larval dispersal of the northern shrimp population in Newfoundland and Labrador; he is also interested in evaluating the potential connectivity of bentho-pelagic species (e.g., sponges, cold-water corals) among marine protected area networks.
Nicolas is looking forward to attending different sessions throughout the conference: “I am mostly interested in the theme biodiversity in a changing ocean, especially the sessions about impact of climate changes and human activities on biodiversity. Also, I look forward to attend the sessions about conservation strategies and marine policies,” said Nicolas.
