About: Callum’s CHONe Involvement

Callum was a 2015 graduate of the NSCC Oceans Technology program. Shortly after graduation he took up an internship position within CHONe Project 1.2.6 (Monitoring EBSAs) based in Peter Lawton’s DFO lab in Saint Andrews, NB. He then moved on to Memorial University in May 2016 to start a Masters program, supervised by Rodolphe Devillers (Department of Geography) and Peter Lawton for the same project. Callum spent summer 2016 and 2017 in Saint Andrews undertaking coastal seabed video surveys to document sensitive benthic areas and the ecology of two biogenic habitat forming species, then took up residency at MUN to pursue his other degree requirements.
